I'm writing this really late, but this week was good. We have had a lot of progress with the ward, and ward council, and our Bishop is the best bishop ever, and soooo many miracles, like, way too many to write down.
So to start things off, We met with our bishop last night, and we just went over a few things that were happening with the ward and missionary work that he wanted us to be aware of, and we told him about some of the new things in store for the future of the work. He gave us the names of members that are currently working to introduce their friends to the church, and then members who have been working with part member families. We are planning on having a "member workshop" where on fifth Sunday we will help run a workshop on "missionary work via social media". We also went on an exchange with some Elders up in the Crystal Lake area, and it went really well. I went with Elder Huefner, and we did a lot of finding. It was New Years Eve, and I don't think I've ever seen our area so dead. But it was good, and we got some good contacts in. Another miracle we had with our bishop, is that last night was the only night we had without a dinner appointment, and after our meeting, he decided to feed us! I was really happy because I was pretty much out of food, and reaaaally needed to go grocery shopping. For P-day we're playing basketball with some investigators, and it's super cool. It's also not bad to play on a really nice court lol Alright, well that's about it for this week. I hope everyone had a happy New Years, and that you have a great first week of 2017.Love you all!-Elder Fa'afetai Phipps
