This Week

Hey everyone!
I hope everyone had a good week! Here in Chicago all is well, and it's getting colder!  Today it was probably the temperature of like, Christmas back in Stockton lol anyway, this week was pretty good. We had our last exchange of the transfer on Wednesday, and it was probably one of the best. On my side, we did some way good contacting, and Awe got some super solid PNI's out of it. One PNI they now have is a man name Hugo, an older Hispanic gentleman who was very open in his spirituality. We talked with him about family, and the Book of Mormon and why we need it. We invited him to read from it and pray to know if it is true. We gave him an English copy, but he prefers to read in Spanish. So we stopped by later and gave him a Spanish BOM, where we had another good conversation with him. Hopefully more comes of it. Another really solid PNI is a woman named Erika, her husband Tim, and their two daughters. We talked to Erika on her front lawn for quite awhile, just getting to know her and her spirituality. We introduced her to the Book of Mormon and she accepted the invitation to read from and pray about it. She is an avid reader, and informed us that she could read it in less than a week. Later on we met her Husband, Tim, who is super chill. We invited them to church, and to the ward Christmas party. Erika had to work yesterday, but they will be at church this next week!
In other news, my studies this week were really good. A seminary teacher in the ward gave us the new scripture mastery paper, and it includes a bunch of Scripture mastery scriptures that are related to doctrinal topics, and they, are awesome. I invite everyone to get ahold of one!
Love you all, have a great week!
